This page is a collections of settings and configuration for running MS-DOS software and games on the HP t5740 Thin Client PC.

Parky Towers has a lot of information on this Thin Client.

If the BIOS is password protected, you can't change any settings, i.e. 'view only'. Remove the power supply and the BIOS battery (2032) for a moment. Reconnect, power on and load the BIOS defaults. The settings are now unlocked.

For connecting to an mt32-pi.

• Download SoftMPU.
• Configure SoftMPU in autoexec.bat.

  lh c:\drivers\softmpu\softmpu.exe /MPU:330 /OUTPUT:COM1

• Download b57.dos, Microsoft Network Client 3.0, packet driver shim and mtcp.
• Configure config.sys.

• Configure autoexec.bat.

• Request IP-adress.

• Start FTP server.

• Download Enhanced doskey.
• Configure autoexec.bat

• Configure autoexec.bat.
